So my daughter is supposed to go on a camping trip with the Girl Scouts this weekend -- Am I too much of a Nervous Nelly to pull her back from going, with the anticipated 4-6" of rain expected Fri-Sun? If u pull her 3 days early...yes. If you say you may pull her and do it Friday when forecast is a lock, no

We definitely need to keep an eye on Gordon. Most modeling has the remnants tracking close to or through Missouri now. Interacting with the front could mean a pretty rainy period Thurs-Sun. While it feels like Déjà vu all over again no need to fret, it hasn’t been 18 months

Good for Dave! Sad for the “selection” of chief meteorologist.

The western flank looks like it may want to be more supercell in structure. May see an increase in the hail threat. Sure has some wind in it Edit: Also a severe watch out now and turning right more.

That storm from Sunday in Affton... did we ever confirm anything tornadic? Straightline winds? Getting back into town from holiday weekend and tons of damage around town from patio sets broken, down trees, damaged roofs. Anyone know the wind gusts from that storm. No tornadoes. 50 mile per hour winds and hail as large as an inch and a quarter in diameter along with torrential rain. When did that storm hit?(morning or evening) I’m headed to my parents in Affton and was out of town this weekend. Guess I’ll be checking their roof.

Man this winter is a bad house guest, 2 months late and doesn’t get the hints the party is over and time to leave.

The Windows X version of RadarScope will be enormously helpful for me doing Facebook live streams from home during late night severe weather when not in the studio! Very excited about this! because we will never be using it for snow unless we all move south?

Is this the only wave to expect or anything behind the front?

Bringing the topic back around, I like the idea of a chat room. Is there a simple way to maybe replace the "help" button at the top with Chat instead? I think would be a nice thing to add. Also, would the chat be a separate page or would it look on something like AJAX?
Would we be able to apply the same content filters on it?
Would the content be archived in any way?
Would we be able to make it access from something other than the site directly? One nice thing about the IRC channel Web setup is that it can be access on a mobile device.
