chris' map has got the ladies talking! đ Fish pointed that out. All I can say is nature has a way of imitating art. I just hope there is no hidden message in that hinting we are going to get screwed.

Just stay up for the euro and then go get some 5 hour energyâs and a bunch of coffee. Snow will wind down in about 42 hours. I plan on pulling an all-nighter tomorrow night. I bought some energy drinks and extra coffee today in preparation and plan on sleeping in tomorrow morning. Bring on the snow

Wait, Glenn just posted a potential double digit snowfall total? This is officially real and we all should go to the store. This needs to be documented, sealed, & put in a time capsule. I think this is the first time in my history I have ever heard him mention double digits for the metro.

Just sayin'

Ditto If the nam and hires nam are correct you're going to need plows and salt tilawn. That inch or less will be added to a bit. Already planned to load both trucks up with the snow equipment in the morning.

The rap and nam are in lockstep now. If I had to guess the euro will follow suit.

I think this is the first time in my history I have ever heard him mention double digits for the metro. Remember when Dave made his first appearance on this forum? We were all like "ummmmm..." So I did my cyber research to track his username to an IP address and where it originated. I private messaged Chris and let him know what I uncovered and he validated the IP address was registered with the parent company of FOX2 and the authenticity was validated. SO...Does Glenn make an appearance here? And if so -- when? Bets?

When was the last time we all had a pure snowstorm? Both sides rockin! I can't remember the last big waa event here. You can get some really big numbers from them. Been soo long ago. Our waa stuff usually gets mucked up with rain or sleet

GFS ain't joining the party. Maybe that is why the NWS is not pulling the trigger on a bigger watch

I love the fact that we are on 30 pages of comments in this one November thread. I love the fact that we've had several things to track this early. Looks like the Old Farmer's Almanac has some explaining to do. For the record:
Old Farmer's Almanac: Nov 7-20: Rainy periods...mild
Normal High Average: 59 Reality: Temps: Avg High: 41.83 Reality: Precip: 2 T events and a 1.2" snow
It's early, but my goodness, I love this!

I wouldnât expect anything till 3:30/4:00 am when they do the normal morning updates. I found this nifty âsituation reportâ with some pretty cool details I havenât see from the NWS talking about specific high and low end expectations and confidence of âanâ event occurring here. Pretty cool actually. www.weather.gov/media/lsx/sitreport/SitReport1.pdfI would assume they will do another either in the morning or mid afternoon again tomorrow.

Please... do me a favor...I respectfully ask folks stop with the talk about otber members of my team. We all have different styles...and mine works with you guys but falls flat with others. The same can be said of other members of our team. Please just focus on the weather event...and not those forecasting it.

SO...Does Glenn make an appearance here? And if so -- when? Bets? Zero chance IMO. The key to this board is getting prematurely and ridiculously excited about a winter storm. Thatâs not Glennâs way. Does he fall into the Cindy P. camp of not loving snow? Admittedly, I'm not as well-versed in Glenn speak as I don't watch TV in the morning, which is completely messing with my Chris Higgins watching addiction. And a quick follow-on - I'm totally missing seeing Cindy on TV. I didn't really appreciate her value until she was gone.

Ignoring QPF...GYB key centers are nearly ideal on FV3, NAM, etc. If anything my north south band may need a slight nudge west...but looks reaaly good with track of 500 and 850 lows. This is a major winter storm for most of STL metro IMO

And for the record - Glenn's weather segments in the prime-time+ hour are totally legit. His approach is totally in line with what I'd expect from a Chief. Chris is still my hero, but Glenn is great too. I'd love for him to chime in here for time-to-time like Dave used to.

All comments about team members deleted. I personally am a huge âZâ fan and have been since a kid. I really like his style and approach. Just think a few more tweaks would be very awesome as he is a very good meteorologist which is why he runs the ship now.

Just think a few more tweaks would be very awesome as he is a very good meteorologist which is why he runs the ship now. He Emceed a charity auction at my kids' school a few years back. He somehow got me to bid on (and win!!) an organ. A church organ. Why did I bid on it? He said it had a "cow bell" mode. So i won it. It was mine an my wife's wedding anniversary that day, and a friend posted on Facebook: "What says Happy Anniversary? A church organ." Yeah. Thanks, Glenn! It was for charity. I gifted it back to the school who got a double donation when they sent it to someone who could actually use it.
