Pretty big area of precipitation blowing up South of us moving in the immediate metro in 30 mins. Yep. This stuff falling right now is slowly adding up.

The 06z nam is pretty wet tomorrow but brings the rain/line all the way past i70.

Yeah its all snow here too.
If it's sleet and graupel in Villa Ridge the lift isn't getting high enough into the DGZ.

I can sleep well after knowing that and after drinking extra in advance for the inches we will pick up overnight know that it’s snow now.

There’s a pretty big dry slot moving up I 44 hopefully it fills back in. Great disco this morning. 10-15” totals along I 70 could be the second all time storm.

As long as 850's stay below 0C and the 540 line stays S, will the precip stay snow even with surface temps of 33-34*?

As long as 850's stay below 0C and the 540 line stays S, will the precip stay snow even with surface temps of 33-34*? if there is sufficient lift up into the snow growth region and the near surface temperatures are close to freezing yes it will just be a really wet snow
