Widespread subzero temperatures are being shown by major models after next week's storm.
I think Judah Cohen did an excellent job staying the course.

I know the snow is supposed to be heaviest around the I-70 corridor, but looking at MoDOT cams, 70 is the clearest highway in the area and 44 is a dumpster fire. You aren’t going much of anywhere once you get between the Grays Summit area all the way up to 141ish. May not have as much snow in that area, but that’s been the area of greatest impact that I can tell.

Ive been clearing snow on one part of my car at synoptic times (noon, 6pm, midnight, 6am) and taking a measurement, and the grand total in the last 18 hours? 9.5" Only 1" since midnight Max snow depth is 9.25"
So 9.5" in South County. I only need 2.5" to break my personal record which was from March 2008

Light snow is starting back up.
But there is definitely dry air out there.
Which is likely helping keep us snow

Closing in on around 9" at my place. It's almost up to my rotties bellies in the yard (away from any snow mounds from shoveling). Got a mixture of flurries, sleet, and some rain falling.

I measured 4 inches here in Ste. Gen. What are my friends in Perryville and Farmington measuring? By the sounds of it a little compaction as there was definitely a crunch underfoot when I measured.

Glenn mentioned possibly with the thunderstorms well Southwest Missouri near Springfield. Thoughts what the chances are and how much that may add that the computer models may not be picking up?
