Went to bed with 5" had fallen, woke up to maybe another 5? Measured 5 anyway, not sure of compaction. I would say storm total so far, IMBY, 10", maybe 11" if any compaction took place. The snow is a little damp and it is 32*. Good morning all!

Couldn't let this one slide. Make the new guy stand out in the snow without even an official meteorologist parka. Congratulations.

I will say this...the 4 year snow drought made me appreciate anything over a couple inches. The build up to the storm and when it is ongoing is the best part. Let's never do that drought again.

7.25" in Marissa. So a minor bust...so far...to the low side on my part. We'll see what today brings. I don't expect much. It just now started snowing again. Maybe we'll squeeze out another inch or so if it slides just right.

I don't see or hear any sleet here. That's strange! I heard it & went outside, definitely clear little pellets, not heavy. I'm closer to the river than you, I think (New Hanover). Edit: Back to light snow quickly

I don't see or hear any sleet here. That's strange! I wouldn't doubt if there are localized reports of all p-types as the low moves across MO, based on precip intensity. I don't think the warm nose is terribly warm (or deep), so it can be overcome if it's coming down hard enough.

Just like that, a 5 minute burst of quarters and hamsters, then back to dimes.

All snow in Hillsboro. It started at about 7:50 and has been coming down moderately since. No sleet, but we have seen some large flakes mix in. Sitting at right about 8".

Heavy snow currently Ill try measuring again soon Curious what you have since I think you're very, very close to me here in Arnold. The most I measured was 10" but I was at almost 9 late last night. I think quite a bit of compaction. Cammi loving the snow and her ball. Snowing pretty hard. Attachment Deleted
