The nam has an unrelated system on Thursday that comes from the the Pacific that has much bigger potential than the ones from the PV.

My wife will be very happy. More importantly, there shouldn't be children stuck outside with wind chills of -50. They made a good decision, although I understand there are more factors to consider up here.

We have thousands of speckle belly, Canada, and Snow/blue staging back to the south of my Business in Mascoutah, we’re on the edge of town. Never seen specs reverse migrate like what I saw the past couple days. They’re staging in the city lake and corn field. They kept a steady flow of flocks coming in from the south, and the southeast. I heard more geese flying over my house in the past hour than i can ever remember at any one time.

Me thinks a wind chill warning may be issued for stl come wed morning leading to school closures. Apparently that’s the trigger for school closing around these parts.

00z gfs is trying to setup a bomb by next Tuesday-Wednesday.
60s for Super Bowl Sunday and some rain, and then things could go boom.

Potential severe weather risk to looking at the charts

Oh yeah, that is a KABOOM.
That's the image for me to call it a night on.
Hopefully we are grilling on Sunday and Monday preparing for a beast.

Since it has slowed down in here, I have a question. I know the real story is the WC but if there was no wind or cloud cover what would be our low temperatures? I might add it is 11° WC 1°.

warming trend continues with the forecast for wed night and thur. It likely won't snow at all, so no trade off. I did read where it has snowed in Chicago for 12 days in a row. It wont even be anywhere near the freezing mark from Saturday through Monday..at least. As in..way above freezing. Might be above for longer than we're below. Lol.
