I don't pretend to be an expert, but the west is getting slammed in the mountains, and they are predicting the East is going to get slammed too. I think we should get something, but all the big chain weather channels are pretty much writing us off, with just a little bit. The big chains almost always write us off when the coastal cities are impacted by the same system...I wouldn't sweat that.

Watch is up for our far northern county. Afd speaks of 1 to 3 for metro so tomorrow we may get advisory. The NAM is going to make them sweat a little I think haha.

I suppose things will be a bit clearer after the 00z runs. I still think where we are headed is a general 2 to 4 inch event with some gusty winds. There really hasnt been enough evidence one way or another on this imo until after tonight. The afd, iirc spoke of another possible maxima setting up se of 44. If that verifies then my thought of 2 to 4 is going to be too high but b4 i jump ship, i wld like to see how tonights runs happen. I dont want to take the 18 nam seriously attm.

That would be an unexpected surprise!! And speaking of unexpected surprises...I have almost full sunshine!! The clouds have really thinned out and I have more blue than white or gray! Good to see it, if only for a couple of hours

Is it still 3-4 inches in JeffCo? Sticking with 3 or more for now. We are still just under 2 days. That model run I just posted is the closest thing conceptually to what history says should happen... but I would like a little more model agreement before I post a high end number.

She's a beaut Clark! That's exactly what I'm expecting from a conceptual standpoint. I saw a reference/comparo to the Feb '07 storm and I strongly agree with that. I flew over that storm on the way to the SHOT show in Vegas. I'll never forget seeing the towering CU with small anvils overshooting the stratoform. I know there were several reports of TSSN in the Metro during that one.
