Cape got abt 4 inches yesterday with higher amounts to the west and east of town. They were not expecting this either but looks like they get another inch. Roads were bad due to the surprise yesterday. Im sure this latest surprise is another blow for road crews.

Very beautiful moderate snow finally with solid snow growth.
We got like a 1/4" from this.
The only moderate snow of this event just started and is about to depart.
Got a 1/2" yesterday.
So perspective man.
You did fantastic today.

I just love the 'diamond' look on everything with clipper snows. 1.5" in de soto. Temp 19*. Had beautiful sunshine most of the day. I was able to shovel/scrape the crunchy stuff enough to put salt down. Sunshine did the rest. Now I get to do it tomorrow. Great winter so far.

What were the Mets predicting today? I know some commented on this yesterday but it wasn't a big deal from what I read....Looking like 2 inches here in Kirkwood.

Roads were terrible, I drove from south county to Wentzville, took two hours , I got stuck in the 270 accident. It was clearly a fatality accident . I did not see one MODot truck . I agree with Chris good thing this was not during the week and rush hour.

NWS has a 30-40% chance for snow until about noon then they went 70% for 1” or less. It was not forecast very well in my opinion. I was at my sons baseball training and most people did not even know it was supposed to snow.

What were the Mets predicting today? I know some commented on this yesterday but it wasn't a big deal from what I read....Looking like 2 inches here in Kirkwood. I put my forecast up at 745am...I had dusting to about an 1" starting early afternoon...ending around 6pm...expect slick roads. I didnt do a forecast yesterday for anything except yesterday. I tackled this morning this morning. It's one of those storms where there isnt enough to plow...so you have to rely on chemicals.

In the ER. Broke my left ankle. More to come soon. Will need surgery Trimaleolar fracture in 2008, 1 plate and 13 screws. Life changing injury. Best of luck, hopefully it’s not “too” serious I’ll see your trimaleolar fracture and raise you a dislocation.

so any big storms in site? Northwest flow for 7-10 days with several 1-3 inch opportunities popping up 24 hours in advance. A couple shots at dropping below zero. Then the southern stream returns and we have a shot for more significant accumulations.

Leaf blower does a great job on this kind of snow. Just finished up with the leaf blower! Didn't measure, but would guess between a quarter to half an inch. Got a new backpack leaf blower this past fall, made real short work of clearing walks and decks!
