Blues look like crap and snows are shifting north. The universe has returned to its normal state.

Here are my adjustments for today. I'm off to bed...I have to cover the Sunday morning show. I have decided to hold fast with 3" to 6"...although I acknowledge the lower end of that range is most likely. I just think it sends a more consistent message to stay locked in the same range. It also leaves open some wiggle room if the mesoscale band remains focused/stationary and a bit more intense than expected. I did shave the southern tier of counties down to 1" to 3"...and that is likely not a tight enough gradient. I would not be suprised to see very little snow in Perryville or Fredericktown....at least as it stands right now.

Viewers make me laugh. I just posted that map on facebook...and a nice person posted "Where do you think the heaviest snow will be"... My answer (I hope not too snarky)..."In the 3 to 6 inch band" Is that too harsh?

Gfs and fv3 suggest severe weather may be in play next weekend at this time.
Soak it all in folks. This could be the last true accumulating snow of the season for some.

It’s going to be done snowing by the time most people get up in Missouri.

As always, thanks for the updates everyone, Chris, Friv, cards, snowstorm, wxwatcher, landscap, Brighton, etc. Too many to name that keep all of us lurkers updated with the latest and greatest.
Btw, Friv I have all the respect for you to be honest with yourself. I do remember back in the old days when you had more of a brash nature with your posts. However regardless of what you were going through then, admitting who you were, apologizing and noticing the differences then vs now is a major accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself. I think everyone on this board would agree. Takes a real man to admit the past and be true to yourself as a changed man today. We all loved you then and still do now however. I forgot to respond to your posts regarding this last night before I fell asleep but I wanted to so I am now lol.
