NAM looks amazing about best case scenario, mostly frozen precipitation temps stay at or below freezing for metro and north and west . It is similar to how I think things may evolve.

I’m sitting at 26-27 with a 18-19 dew point. If precipitation gets here it will stick very easily.

NAM looks like the FV3 and Gem the Gfs and Euro look similar and a little warmer with a more liquid solution.

Light sleet mixed with flurries falling here in Webster Groves. Or I should say... “mixed ice pellets with snow” - has quickly ended. Waiting on the next small batch.

does NAM show more snow or ice? For Tuesday night...verbatim, it's more snow than ice. But as the mid level dry slot works in it transitions to more of a light freezing rain/drizzle scenario. Whether it's really that cold at the surface for the duration remains to be seen.

Whether it's really that cold at the surface for the duration remains to be seen. Looking at the soundings for Belleville low level winds don't start to veer SWS until like 800mb.. Then as the warm nose encroaches the low level winds like 800-900mb reverse back Northerly because of cyclogenesis to our South. It's really the ideal veered WAA scenario. We'll see

The main difference in the gfs can Nam is speed.
The Nam is much faster.
WAA tends to be faster. So that is going for us.

00z Icon is a carbon copy of the 12z euro with a bomb cyclone cutting to the west.
Gem is much further south and east giving central Missouri heavy snow.
This would be next weekend

Hit a somewhat heavy sleet/snow shower coming down 55 just north of Arnold. Enough to start covering the highway
Modot was out in full force from what I could tell
