A friend of mine just told me Washington Schools are closed tomorrow. I didn’t realize roads were that bad. There are several highways north of the river that are still closed Every large hill in southern warren county is closed due to accidents and slick conditions

No way that a school bus makes it into and out of my subdivision safely tomorrow morning.

Already starting to get a not so good feeling that this thing will end up north. Quit looking at the GFS.... Looks a little stronger and further north. The High over Canada appears weaker and a little further north and east,

Models took a huge step back tonight pretty much back to the solution a couple days ago or even a bit warmer. While one model cycle isn't the end all be all the fact that most of the models have almost all pulled back on snow and introducing warming temps isn't a good sign. GEM is going to be make or break. If it caves then this could be over before it even starts. Then again it could just be a fluke and we'll see a return to a more southern solution and colder one.

The operational GFS run has been wonky with this storm from the beginning. The GEFS will be much more telling

Looks like a 200/250 mile 'jog' north, rough estimate....although, chances are with that big storm just out in the Atlantic, this storm won't jump/redevelop into a Nor'easter.
Edit: Could be wrong

Apparently, I was wrong ....but the amazing thing is, the huge difference between 0Z and 18Z at 84hr. At Hr120 the secondary lows are in almost the exact placements between the 2 runs.

When the Euro/Gem/Euro Ensembles/GEFS/ Ukmet all go way north I will get concerned. The icon and gfs do not not very strong track record’s lately.

My favorite part of storm expectations. Discount the have nots. Lol right? I’ve been caught up in the digital snow porn potential and need to realize that setup is nearly impossible. We are likely to see reality soon and this may be the beginning. Again just my opinion but it’s a gut feeling that is rarely wrong.

That clipper energy Monday has sneaky written all over it. The atmosphere is going to be very cold so it won't take much moisture to kick off some accumulating snow. Snow liquid ratios will be sky-high if anything falls the post in question... nice job
