I'm not writing off the potential, but a continued N shift would not surprise me. Much more interested and concerned with the heavy rain/flooding/severe potential next week with models showing a firehose setup across the central US. It looks similar to the setup in I believe mid March 2008(?), though this one could have some more thunderstorms in the mix. That was a classic stationary conveyor belt of rain for several days. I think you're right...2008 was a banner year for morels! |

Im not a man of morels lol...
Just glad i got my taxes filed. Was going to do them later this week with the rain but today was not exactly a ray of sunshine, so i took advantage. Gawd wet times are a-coming. I maintain pings of sleet in our far northern sections this weekend but all in all, the big story is amazing amounts of rain and cool temps for the next several weeks. Right now 90 and sunny looks good but May just cant get here fast enough.

Saw a video from an Australian grocery store of three women ready to rumble over toilet paper. The police had to be called. Definitely strange times. |

As for me, I'll stock up on ammo. I don't expect it to get stupid; but if it does, I'll eat what I kill. I live out in the boonies, so I'll just sh** in the yard and hose off (or use the rabbit fur...see above).
