If your wondering if the TP shortage is real, well my wife and I just moved into our new place here in Denver and realized we only had one roll left. Had to wait till the next day to find some. We went to Target and Safeway. By the way more people die from the regular flu and nobody was freaking out then. Seems like every election year there is some sort of virus getting hyped up.

Just realized on my way into work that there is no mention of vaping anymore. We went to Costco this past weekend for dog food and they had plenty of tp, but no samples.

So it's fair to say TP in Denver is...ahem...wiped out.

Looks like things are lining up for colder than normal back half of March. SSW being forecasted or under way along with a ridge into AK coupled with a near zero AO and a moderately negative EPO. The PV definitely looks to be weakening.

The PV definitely looks to be weakening. If the pattern can become progressive and allow the trof to progress east, the cold air could become entrenched...but it doesn't show a lot of movement at this point which puts us in a very active and wet SW flow.

As for me, I'll stock up on ammo. I don't expect it to get stupid; but if it does, I'll eat what I kill. I live out in the boonies, so I'll just sh** in the yard and hose off (or use the rabbit fur...see above). Same. I am already stocked up. Plus enough resources to reload my own for a year!

I've got a freezer full of food and lots of dry goods in the pantry. So long as the power stays on I'm good.

Who gives a rat's a$$ about that pattern in late March. 2 months ago would have been better. All this does is bring us a cold and wet early Spring. Lame

Any idea as to what all the haze is and there's kind of a funny metallic smell in the Frontenac area?
Edit - I found the article about the recycling center fire on the east side.

Lame Well, it’s the only pattern that may bring the area any appreciable amount of snow which is a change from the winter. I guess I’ll go into my spring/summer/fall hibernation if it pleases the crown.

The trough entrenched to the west....we get periods of rain, possibly starting as pings of sleet north of 70. The big story is the rain. I personally wldnt be surprised to see 6 inches of rain over the next 2 weeks.

I am going to hibernate until November. Enjoy the wet and hot spring, then onto hotter summer, then hot fall and back to dismal winter. Grab all the TP you can and stay healthy everyone! Social Distance. 😷

SIUE just extended spring break to include March 16-22. Sounds like they are trying to make all classes online for the rest of the semester.
