Poured rain and lots of close lightning/thunder. It was /is awesome. Needed it badly. Wife and I raked up 3 HUGE canvas type bags and I was running the weedeater inside the bag to mulch up the leaves. Works great. Started to rain and I didn't put my rain gauge out. We had to of had 1/2-3/4" of rain. It poured for a bit. 7 miles west of De Soto.

Sporadic rain here. Rains for 10-15 minutes then stops for 15 or 20. Unless it changes no significant accumulation numbers here

Now the 18Z GFS has hopped on board the week of Halloween Snow train for our area showing some pretty impressive numbers for October.

Pouring in High Ridge right now. Don't have a gauge, but we've had quite a bit.

This could have been a freak winter storm along 44 in about 2 months..maybe 1 month.

This could have been a freak winter storm along 44 in about 2 months..maybe 1 month. The main area of rain set up a little further north than what was modeled. Can’t wait to copy and paste that I’m a couple months lol.

This could have been a freak winter storm along 44 in about 2 months..maybe 1 month. Reminds me a bit of that system last December that brought the SE half of the area the only real snow all season. The models didn’t catch on until the last piece of energy was over the Rockies

can't help but think something like this would spell ice with a stronger cold pool to the north.

Something looks like it wants to develop early next week... GFS more progressive, keeping a positive tilt to the upper low... but gives the best chance of flakes area wide... euro a little more amplified and the GEM is just... gnarly but welllll off to the north.

Still I'll be glad we got some at least.
