This could get real if everyone who placed a bet for tomorrow's high temp chipped a dollar and see who end ups closes and wins the money pot. It may be tough to send the prize money to whoever wins though.
I'll go w/ 70 for 1 dollar.

Puddles are frozen and roads slushy this morning around Brighton with an air temp of 38*...ground is still cold!

for some reason this was in my youtube recommended list
a gem.Is it bad that the radar in this clip is better than the new NWS radar? That radar was on 24/7 if you had local cable in the late 80s. And I agree the new NWS radar is horrible. So disappointed

My guess of 70 won't be warm enough IMO, low 70s are looking likely today. But the record of 77 is locked and safe. KSTL was at already at 54 at 9:51am. And the skies look to stay clear the rest of the day. Kind of weird we are getting this warm with a western Pacific wind, but we will take it!

Seems like models are losing support overall for anything wintry early next week. The GFS is an outlier with the strength of the surface ridge and cold airmass that builds in ahead of the ejecting energy. The GEM and EC have much less NW flow and lift the shortwave/upper low well to the NW.

Hopefully spring is hear to stay overall I’d say there’s a 20% chance spring is locked in
