So I heard you like wind reports What a massive area of real estate where a high risk would of verified That’s about as top end of a wind event you’ll see

.30” fell here in VR this morning. Watching the news this morning I feel so bad for Randi. Really surprised she’s on air sounding that rough.

Both met the official report density and unofficial magnitude requirements.

Looks like it was 71 at midnight which would break the record of 70 from 1889. I turned on the AC at 11 pm last night when I got home from work. On Dec 15. I mean wtf.

In addition to thos absolutely ridiculous December we are having in terms of severe weather, st.louis also broke the record today just after midnight at 71 beating the old record of 70 set in 1889.
Basically we are rewriting record books this month across the u.s.

I'll never forget the baseballs crashing down on my house. There weren't many of them, but they were big. The creek behind my house also came up as high as I had ever seen it that day...being at the top of the comma we basically had a training situation happening. And then the damn thing dropped a tornado on the backside of the comma!

Where did it lift then? Maybe just before Mayfield? I remember commenting that it seemed to have cycled there and others such as RT have said as much.
Also, "anchors...pulled out of the concrete foundation"...only EF4?

Also, "anchors...pulled out of the concrete foundation"...only EF4? Lifted just east of Reelfoot Lake just after crossing into TN. I missed the part about anchors torn out of foundation. I suspect the store cited falls under the "small retail building" or "small professional building" damage indicators in which case no degree of damage, not even total destruction wiped down to slab, would qualify as EF5 in either case.

I was able to see the EF4 damage from our 2011 tornado. That looks to pale in comparison to Mayfield.
