When will the push come to move the storms through the area? I would love to be under one of them. Prime time for the Metro is looking like 8-11pm

For the life of me I cannot make a photo appear here. So I made it my profile pic. Since I’ve moved to downtown StL I’ve been anticipating approaching weather. So I present to you this amazing spectacle sight today. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I don't think we had any rain last night. I heard thunder and looked at the radar and the ol' JeffCo Split was rearing it's ugly head. Unreal. Time to water again.

I still suspect tomorrow's event may be a sneaky one...definitely worth keeping a close eye on. We haven't had a favorable setup in terms of timing of FROPA in a while it seems like. Tomorrow looks like the forcing comes in near peak-heating with favorable kinematics for supercells...at least initially.

Safe to expect quite a bit of shower/thunderstorm coverage tomorrow in the northern viewing area and NW of there? Trying to gauge if it’s even worth hooking up the boat and heading to Mark Twain Lake.

I could hear thunder while feeding the fish 7 Mi west of DeSoto half hour ago. Come into the house and weather radio going off. Warning was for Franklin County. Radio has gone off 3 times now, but radar is not looking good for me.

Just had a heavy hail storm for about 5 minutes, pea-size with some dime-sized, then heavy rain for a few minutes, now tapering off with light rain.

Any idea if these boundaries being laid down tonight will play a role in tomorrow's storm evolution?
