Ya that almost stationary large wedge tornado was something else. And then it spins up a very brief anticyclonic tornado just to its south. But this tornado was going southeast, then east, then northeast then north and finally northwest. Very weird spin. Something I've never seen before. This was in Oklahoma north of Loveland. South of Chattanooga. I happened to be watching that very storm on radarscope. I got some gif videos that I saved too.

Ya not too concerned about severe weather here either. Looks like the setup for severe storms is over the same areas the next 2 days.
When finally pushing east by Sunday. Meh...

Hi guys and gals, I hate to put a little damper on Debbie, but in March after weeks of labs and testing, I was diagnosed with late stage bile duct liver cancer and metastasis to my low back and pelvis. If you so choose please follow my account on Caring Bridge under either Glen or Susan Gay, and Go Cards on 2024 opening day! So very sorry to hear this news. Cancer comes in many forms and has effected so many of our families and friends. We consider you like family in here. Even though alot of us have never met. I feel like I know everyone as if I have. Though, we can't be truely by your side MoSue. We are still here with you. Just in another way. Sending love and hoping for a painless journey. We all love you. ❤️

Update on sister: after two weeks of adjusting meds, being checked for blood clots, checking for cellulitis and all kinds of stuff we are finally seeing improvement. This is tough. Please keep those prayers coming. Glad to hear that Reb.

NWS mentions the hard freeze in their forecast discussion.
Wonder if they will highlight our area with a freeze warning and/or advisory with this evenings update?

So why no freeze watch/warning with everything blooming? Thats what I was wondering too the last couple of days. Been telling folks at work. That we have a freeze/frost coming up. Then nothing from NWS. LOL They said growing season hasn't officially started yet. But we are seeing blooming?

Ya now I'm wondering if storms will continue over the STL area. Seems like the earlier storms maybe not have any effect on this batch moving in from Central Missouri

That storm in Montgomery Co has a hook on its southwestern flank. Not seeing rotation yet.

Does the stuff down by Springfield make it here? Some maybe. But severe threat looks to shift south of STL. Alot of rain cooled air over most of STL.

Day 2 was just updated to include most of the area in a 5% tornado and 15% hatched hail Ya with the latest model trends. I was wondering if spc would adjust. Curious to see what models spit out tonight and tomorrow. Storms tonight, could get a bit loud along and north of the warm front close to 7pm. Which looks to set up along and north of hwy 70.

It definitely has that drier feel outside here in Troy.
Not your typical humidity when you know storms are likely.

Not too bad. Huge flakes, snow on the ground. Thundersnow and sleet. Couple inches here and there. I'd say a success.
Plus it's not over for central, eastern and southern viewing area.
