Didn’t expect that my deck would be covered tonight. At 35.9 degrees! Snow has been pretty intense - grass is getting covered

Offhand, when was the last time we had a measurable snow this early?

We had measurable snow twice in November 2014.

Now plain light rain. Green ******* returns, and I have light rain. These events where everyone get snow while I get squat are killing me. Is it too much to ask just see a few flakes?

Didn’t really get to measure here in Columbia, mo but seems like 1-1.5”. Maybe we’ll get to 2”, but rates are decreasing and melting and compaction should do a number on what we currently have. Everything is white except the roads, and snow is just starting to stick in spots on that too. It’s absolutely beautiful to watch.

Still light rain. Amazing. Stuck in an eight mile wide dry slot for the entire event. What a complete downer.

Seriously guys tomorrow afternoon looks great for white out conditions.
Probably an inch+ from 30 mins of blindingly heavy snow when the vort passes.
Also between 4-6 am light snow over the metro.

Deck is covered. Getting the reflection of the city lightsoff the snow into the bedroom window. Room is as bright as it is on a cloudy day.
Back to sleep I go
