Seeing and deer movement? Yesterday morning was awesome but last night was dead. Very quiet here this morning as well. Ste. Gen county. Started off with a lot of movement in the woods. Had one big doe in front of me but quiet ever since and only 3 shots far off in the distance. 8:30 is the magic time here though. Going after a huge 12 on my land. I let a real nice 8 walk yesterday. Good thing is all the neighboring landowners do the same so we get some big ones around here. Some great genetics here too. There's a 170 class 13 ptr around here that we've all had on cam. I'm in it for meat primarily but love seeing a big buck too.

I believe I willed this a bit too far north when I started reeling it in the other day. You're welcome everyone!

I like to mainly just watch now because it’s very peaceful unless the big one comes out. Thankfully our neighbor do the same too. Hopefully we will both get our wish in multiple ways this week lol Temp just raised to 36* I have a feeling it’s about to get real here very soon with the snow.

addictedtowx, that is a beautiful view from up there! Enjoy the snow, and hope you can bring a deer home! Stay warm! Thanks mosue! It is very beautiful up here. If you look at the pic that is looking down on those hills at the intersection of 44 and 50. I live on the second highest point in Franklin County on the Bourbeuse River so I think those two combinations help me keep the snow a bit longer here.

Moderate snow, vis maybe 1/4 mi. What's your temp and is it stickin? It is in Joplin from pics I’ve seen. Suppose to weaken as it moves in to our area though isn’t it?

Years ago I used to go fishing at a farm pond owned by family friend not too far from there on American Inn Road. Haven't been in decades. They don't own the farm any more

Weather related - Temp has dropped two degrees since I sat down here about an hour ago. Down to 38. And there is ~something~ coming down. Too fine to tell if it's solid or liquid

Moderate snow, vis maybe 1/4 mi. What's your temp and is it stickin? 34* sticking to elevated surfaces only. Trees, cars. decks, grass. It would be piling up fast if it were colder it is really coming down at a good clip.

The radar is going off now.
And the models none of them have this even on the composite radar.
Because of this being a sprawling system I wouldn't give the models much matter in terms of placement.
Fwiw the rap and nam are more robust as well.

12Z NAM for Thursday would be legendary not seen since the 70s.
1977-78 was an analog year, so far seems to be more or less on track.
Also important to note is that the models in the longer range have really toned down the warm-up for next couple of weeks with mostly near normal temps to still slightly below normal temps being shown for most days minus a one or two here and there ahead of each storm in what should be another pacific storm parade starting mid next week. Seems like the colder, snowier pattern then wants to reload as early as the 2nd if not 3 week of December in time for the Holidays.

I have to admit their radar is looking much more healthy than I thought it was going to… I have my fingers crossed :-)

Looks like the infamous donut hole is trying to form over the metro. Thankfully that will be overcome this time.

Even HRRRRRR is picking up on better redevelopment on the back side into tonight. We may be trending back in the right direction.

Temp gradient is starting to tighten and colder air is building south...finally...temps had dropped 1 degree in the last hour along I-70...while up a degree or two over southeast metro.

Can you elaborate? What is it showing?
