The 'Belleville Warm Bubble' really holding firm. Once those deeper yellows and oranges move in it should drop. It's getting there now.

Starting to see some hamsters again but none of this is amounting to anything. What is falling isn't close to what you would expect looking at the radar so must be a lot of reflection from melted flakes.

I'm not sure who reported 3.3" in Salem, but that's clearly wrong. It's compacted down to 4-5" now because of the above freezing temps and light rain. Early this morning there was a solid 6-7".

Seems I have turned to all snow (normal hamsters). Looking at radar, IF all of that sw of is snow, easily another inch. temp 33* still. I concur. All snow here, albeit light currently. Temp: 33

It is nothing more than flurries here but the flakes are huge. Let's hope that HRRR is right but I'm skeptical.

Same. Warm Bubble is winning the battle.

Edit that: seems to be a rain/large flake mix. 80% rain. Let's hope this switches to all snow. At least that is better news. I couldn't see the rain originally.

That big orange/red area on radar is bad news.
To the West where its mostly snow it tails off to dark green and yellow because there is less reflective melting.
The orangish color needs to fade some.

I made a quick trip to Belleville and released all the hot air I could muster. Seriously, how the hell is that rain?

Just got up from a long nap and hearing rain. I’m afraid to look outside, at this rate the other half of my snow will be gone by morning.

Lol at the flake descriptions. I mean literally. 😂 Are you referring to me stating flakes vs drops? That and millssiles, half grown rabits, and a few others over the course of this thread.

Don't fret everyones snow is history by Tuesday I'd like to see Montgomery City lose their 20 inches of snow by then. I'd have to agree with you there. South of I-70/I-64 yeah, probably. North of there, highly unlikely especially in shaded spots.
