Got a question for you folks...my iPhone 7 took a crap. Hardware issue. Just came from the Apple Store and was EXTREMELY displeased with the outcome. I've had several iPhones but that about did it for me. Has anyone here ever made the transition to the Google/android phones? Which one would you recommend?

Wife and I switched from the IPhone, to the Google Pixel XL last year. No REGRETS. Love them, very simple and user friendly. Oh, and the Pixel has an awesome camera Got a question for you folks...my iPhone 7 took a crap. Hardware issue. Just came from the Apple Store and was EXTREMELY displeased with the outcome. I've had several iPhones but that about did it for me. Has anyone here ever made the transition to the Google/android phones? Which one would you recommend? |

I think 10:1 is a good ratio for a march system. As i alluded a few days ago, you cant believe those lsrs approaching upper teens. Im thinking 4 inches will be a common measurement n of 44 into the metro. Maybe spots higher approaching 6 s of 44 over to rolla and points sw from there. I usually agree with your thoughts. But it being March has little bearing on SLRs. Unless you are thinking thermal radiation is going to be an issue. Like I posted above the entire column is below -4C for the entire event. And there lift is it's -6 to -20C. Surfaces will be cold. Surface temps in the mid 20s. And the snow starts at night. Yes insolation will be a factor but most of the snow should fall when thats not an issue, so on second thought we might be good with 12:1. The higher march sun was my concern until i chkd timing. |

Here is my update. Not much more than defining the upper limit of "3 or more". Going with widespread 3 to 6...some may get more...but the weak reflection at 850...and fast movement lead me to play it middle of the road. LSRs near normal of 1/13 seem reasonable as a whole for the storm.  |

Your gonna want more than a broom. With 5 inches Friv has pointed out some things that i was thinking a few days ago....qpf likely to be .15 along 70, flatter system which is weaker and faster. All of these things were the exact reason why i was downplaying imby a few days ago. 1 to 3 is a very reasonable expectation for those of us around the 70 corridor. Like i said, im feeling bullish going with 4...i just hope i dont look foolish. But im letting it ride until i see resl changes. 1 to 3 70 and north is very reasonable. I can see why anybody wld come to that conclusion. |

It’s interesting how the NAM and some other models are showing the heavier band moving down I 70 it must have to do with the frontegenic forcing

Thanks for all the advice folks. I've been loyal to Apple in terms of phone, but have always had a PC on the computer side. I was just very put off by my experience tonight. So apparently the phone is messed up so bad that they can't even do a system restore on it. And my icloud didn't function properly so only about 10 percent of my photos and videos are saved, which sucks but it is what it is. I took the nice approach at first then turned into a bit of an A$$ but nothing worked. I was presented with an offer of a "new" iphone 7 for just under 400 bucks. LOL. Yea no thanks buddy. Maybe I'll give the other side a try on an older one for much cheaper and see how I like it.

Super phone with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage running stock Android that gets all the updates for 2 years. Cost $180 new. I use it with Cricket. If you need to go with the best camera and a huge phone then go with a Google pixel. Android is so much more diverse than iOS. |

I’m not trying to come off like an a$$ by saying this so please don’t take this with any bit of disrespect.
Can we please cut the android iPhone back and forth. There’s some weather in the forecast and for those that prefer to read the updates on the weather and not what phone everyone has, reviews and what’s preferable, can we stick to the weather please?
