4 is close enough I think. With it blowing. Sorry. I always have more but 4 ish is scientific enough for me The problem with that notion is you could be measuring a drift instead of actual snowfall. Please listen to folks around regarding the proper measuring rules. M 2.5 Southern Troy.

Also I would not be surprised if we go below zero with fresh snow tonight

Going to call it an even 2.0" here in Brighton and I just saw the first snownado of the day and the drifts are really starting to pile up...success!

Probably close to 2” in SPI. More than I’ve seen in a month.

Better shot for us BRTN is midweek. Could be. We'll have to see how quickly the cold air remains in place. I don't think this snowcover is going to last very long...not like 6" would have with these kind of temps. It's nice that you got in on this one...wasn't expecting SPI to see much.

I’d imagine the snow will take a pretty big hit tomorrow with the sun. Even though temps will be cold

Better shot for us BRTN is midweek. Euro drops 1-2” from STL to Springfield. Not a very impressive looking system though

adj466...please see your private messages.
Everyone else...I'm asking everyone to end the discussion about adj446. He and I will be engaged in offline dialogue. We all clearly have our opinions about posting accurate information...and it is very clear where I stand when it comes to exaggerating and posting inaccurate reports. For my personal peace of mind... let us please move on from the discussion in the public forum.

Wind blowing snow off the roof vis was down to 20' for a second there. I measured a few areas where I normally do when I first went outside to clean everything off. I had 1.75" and 2". Going that route would yield 1.875". I see bororug posted 1.5" so I will go with 1.75" because of the wind and this area could have received some additional from the roof when the winds kicked up. I think that puts me at 21.75" for the year. Not too shabby. There are rumors of more snow I hear. At least I am above average for a change. I will take it. I just love updating snow totals.

Euro is garbage next week. Weak with the Thursday system, then an extreme cutter.
Get it out of here

99 how much snow you got up that way? I’m not in town but it’s a beautiful white scenery in Montauk Country. Please tell me you got up and caught that limit early..... I'm a trout fisherman myself, and now an envious one... have fun!! Thanks. Of course I’m a die hard!! Can’t keep them off the line. They released 1300 and nobody is here and got scared and left last night. Got the stream to myself although I can’t feel my hands. This is great!! Got about 1.5” - 2” of snow but it is melting now with the sun.

I’m having a very difficult time measuring with this surgical shoe. I probably have 1.5”. Grass still sticking out but it’s ok. I’m enjoying every minute of it I find it easier to measure with a ruler . You got me 😜

Has anyone seen the official total from the airport yet? I've heard an unofficial number... in the general vicinity of the airport.... but it sounds like 2.3 may be our number in the end.

So we haven’t hit 25 inches yet! I believe it was still snowing when that number was floated... so it is possible another .1 or more could be added I guess.

Gotta' be rough this time of year. But the taste of that trout...YUM!

I'm guessing about an 1.5" here. Just a general observation. Wind was really moving the snow around. As soon as the snow stopped the sun came out, sidewalks began melting away quickly. 19.9° windchill 7°
