Good news is it’s not the absurd numbers that we have seen the last 3 years when we have had historic flooding, even if rivers are slightly on the high side currently. We all still suffer from ptsd for those who live along the Meremac but let’s not begin the panic we laugh at French toast shoppers for. Or I could be projecting

No rain yet. But I'm getting some thunder. Nothing showing on Radarscope so I'm thinking it's cloud to cloudl
Edited to add: now there is lightning showing

I guess the chance of having a severe thunderstorm watch issued later on today is on the increase?

This area of storms moving our way, is that the severe threat for today? Or is there more later this evening?

This area of storms moving our way, is that the severe threat for today? Or is there more later this evening? I think that should somewhat fade and slide north with time, to be replaced by new stronger development. It is currently marching east a bit more than I expected though. That could stabilize the atmosphere and decrease the severe threat this evening if it continues.

Haven't looked at any modeling but I'm concerned about discrete development across the S half of the CWA where destabilization is maximized and where storms could interact with the composite outflow/warm front.

Also, we use IAlert on our phones and it did not activate. Only the old trsty Weather Alert Radio sounded the alarm.

Just sitting between all the real action at Lackland and the Rock Road. I wanna hear the thunder shake my lab in the center of the 2nd floor. Its a boring day and the auditors skipped over my lab so i cleaned for nothing.

Interesting. Never did show on mine or my wife's android phones. Never got a text or e-mail alert for Warning or Watch from iAlert either although the Alert for the Watch just came via text at 2:19PM.
