Chris mentioned that the line, that is pushing through Springfield now would stay together and could potentially have tornadoes on the front side as the line passes through here later. I think the watch is both warranted and a good call by the NWS.

Shut my desktop down due to some really close lightning. Must be my carrier then. At any rate, i had some huge downpours. My rain gauge doesnt work but im guessing the 2 to 3 inches of rain is far too low. Rain is continuing heavily. Man...if this were snow....there would be....no snow here.

Line just went through Osage Beach...wow it was pretty wicked. Tornado warning stayed south. Going to be some serious flooding in this area overnight.

I’m close to you beaker. Had .8 inches in the last hour and 2 inches in the last 24 and it’s still coming down. wow i wld hv thght we exceeded an inch in that hour but wow .8 is pretty respectable. Looking at the radar i wld guess another 2 on the way and it seems with this setup, rains dont move out as readily onernight.

I think the watch is both warranted and a good call by the NWS. I certainly agree with the watch. Mostly south of stl even though nobody lives down there. The cows better take cover or msnotos might wake up with a cow in her front lawn.

I agree with you, we could see another two before it’s all said and done. Really impressive rains

Early today at work at 6300 Clayton ave.
Its a Rainari Construction Site.
Between 1:15 and 3:15 we had 1.47" of rain.
Heavy downpours kept training over the same spot.
The entire work site became inundated with waterfalls and small lakes.
Just makes work baloney

The rainfall accumulation numbers are going to have insane if this keeps up like this until Thursday. And there is going to be some awfully bloated creeks and rivers
