We have had heavy rain here in Wildwood, seems to have slowed down a bit now.

If using RadarScope make sure you have "show TDWRs" enabled in the settings.

On radar scope hit the choose radar button and zoom into St. Louis. You will see a second radar station tstl. Click on that and use long range reflectivity. Not that great but better then nothing.

Starting to look to my untrained eye....the northward build has slowed and the storms are moving more east. This looks like a i64 and south flash flood event over the next couple hours and im guessing the northward build will reestablish overnigh after midnight so areas north of 70 will get in on the heavy rain then. Jmt.

Walked outside...no rain falling at the moment in my neighborhood but i see more activity in central mo and that has a bit of a north push so it looks like my area will be impacted overnight along with the rest of the metro.

We had no internet overnight after a power outage that lasted about 10 seconds... if that. I can count on one hand the number of times I was scared due to lightning and last night was one of them. That storm that blew through Mascoutah starting at about 1015 was one of the best/worst lightning storms I have seen an a very long time. Impressive and disconcerting at the same time. I have yet to get my rain gauge replaced... Have a great Thursday y'all!

My manual rain gauge near my house says 3.20". Is it possible that the Davis, which empties every 2.5 seconds, couldn't keep up?

3.55 inches here last night. Places just to the south-southwest had virtually none. Craziness.

I have long questioned some manual gauges because they always seem MUCH higher than the others. I saw a gauge from IL pushing 6" this AM...but radar in that area was half that.

So will we see redevelopment today at some point? We haven't even had development yet in North St. Pete. 0, according to the Davis on the roof.
