what was the record low high for today anyway? It was 20 set in 1911. Lambert made it to 21 so we just missed tying it

So who is using this mini snow day to check out Disney +. And yes it’s working again. I know a lot of people that got to stay home today and binge Disney plus. Not me but I did just watch the 1st episode of the Mandalorian when I got home from work. I enjoyed it looking forward to more. Disney really making money today.

Man i feel like i miss so much in here lately. I don't get a lot of time to chat with all u. I transferred jobs back in early Sept. I worked at my previous job for almost 14 yrs.
Since i moved to Troy, Mo back in 2016 I've been wanting to eventually switch my job after we bought our first house here. But felt it best to not jump too soon. Anyways i finally got another job. I now work at Bodine which is officially and fully aligning with Toyota in 2020. So might as well say Toyota plant. Just thought I'd share this with all of u. Been wanting to mention it when it was a bit slower in here, but I've been working so much overtime since i started. Anyways here's to a great Winter Season. 🤗
Goodnight all.

Another boom being reported over a large area of Crawford County (and even parts of Franklin County) this morning...thinking it could have been another meteor...

KSTL is running -10.3* below normal for the month thus far. Temperatures over the next week look to average a bit below normal. Minus any consecutive blowtorch type warmth days, November should finish well below seasonal values. It would be neat to finish every single month from November through March below normal. I'm not sure we've seen that one within the last 30+ years. There have been very few years where Dec., Jan., and Feb. have all been in the negative departure for temps.

Hopefully Thanksgiving Week is ok for travelling. Making our annual End of the Year pilgrimage with the travel trailer down to Branson to camp one last time. Usually, I winterize it before we head back, but last week, I decided based on the forecast, that I had better winterize it then. Im glad I did with as cold as it has been lately.

I don't think I've ever seen this amount of leaves falling on top of the snow.

Just got back from deer camp in Greenfield Ill, and it's been some chilly hunts the past couple days. It's hard to tell because of the wind, but it looks like there was around 3-4 inches on the ground up there. Woke up this morning at 4:30am and 9deg, and, all I can say is, Banks makes an awesome blind for days like today. Didn't even attempt to hunt a ladder stand...lol
