Our school, Arcadia Valley, called off for today since we have a policy of not letting out early. Better to be safe than sorry. Chris, and anyone else on here that serves or has served-Thank you! Your sacrifices for all of us do not go unappreciated. That does not surprise me...and I think it is a good call.

To Chris and all the Veterans on this site and their families, a heartfelt thank you for your service and your sacrifices. I see second hand what my daughter has to deal with when her husband get called up or has to go on drills. It takes special people. Branson sure is a Veteran friendly place to vacation. Amazing support down here. About 42* here and moderate rain. We plan on heading out around 10am. And we know where the have not's will be between the two snow bands, having to be in a vehicle, I am hoping the have not's are right up 44. :-0

Darker at 815 than it was when I got up 630. Definitely has that winter and snow look. And the wind is really creaking the siding

Luckily with this sneaky storm we don't have to worry about saturating the column haha! We got good lift, a decent moisture supply, and great CAA. Going to be fun to watch this unfold. One of the reasons why I fell in love with wx is that each snow storm all humbles us a little more! Any bloggers have reports out in Linn, MO southeast of Jefferson City? Looks like sleet.

Sleeting it’s a$$ off here. Hs been for the last 20+ minutes and accumulating on the back deck. Roads are good yet just wet. Guess I’ll be loading hopper soon and going to work.

You can see the melt layer rapidly starting to lower using Correlation Coefficient on radar

It's 28* and been snowing for a little while here in Bowling Green, MO...the leaves in yard, rooftops, and cars are already heavily dusted. Road is clear. Coming down at a good clip, some bigger flakes mixed in now and then, and some wind gusts.

The Mizzou radar looks good if you flip that on. STL radar could be overshooting some of the returns
