Snow is finally kicking up again here at the Enterprise center.
I have a feeling that the deformation zone is going to kind of bust here in St Louis.

looked like some yellow returns around Shady Valley and new 21 or Hwy M and 21. Guessing with the location. Don’t eat the yellow returns. |

snow just keeps getting eaten up on this side of the river .... so aggravating Yeah, this is a fickle storm because of the frontogenenetic/banded nature of the precip...outside of those narrow bands it's been a struggle to get anything significant with the DAM mostly winning out. |

Beautiful, fat, shiny dendrites! Up to my ankles on the apartment property. Would guess we've managed close to 6 inches storm total.

Little band really blew up right over me. Coming down pretty good now. Doubt I'll get to 10" tonight but who knows. I'm happy with what I got already.

Wow that tornado south of Tuscaloosa looks bad on radarscope.
So glad we got snow today and not that! I hate how every year when me or a friend posts on FB how much snow we got and some "friend" that lives in FL or CA leaves a comment like "80F here and I'm outside in shorts" and I'm like "good for you, sounds gross". Not everyone loves the heat especially at Xmas time.

Went out to load wood stove for the night and scooped 1.25"-1.5" off the sidewalk from this evening's snow. Only snow during the day was a dusting around 4pm.

This back building stuff out of the Ozarks is actually heavy at times. May squeeze out an inch or more yet which would be a nice surprise. This whole storm system was crazy. Nobody expected the big tornado outbreak for one thing.
Also let’s go blues! Love this team.

One day I'm gunna slot a vacation to go chase snow in Buffalo for a major lake effect event. Would love to sit under a death band for a day or two.
