In ofallon the sleet started abt 2. Then abt 315, turnover to snow. Snowfall rates at times exceeding an inch per hour with rabbits falling out of the sky. Looks to be 3 inches on the ground here in twin chimneys as of 6 pm.

All snow here and the ground is dusted. I went to the basement to check the sump and came back to a dusting. Nice.

Teleconnections are looking the best they have since oh, early November. Those do look beautiful. That would argue for storminess and plenty of cold.

This turned into a really solid system for the western and northern metro. Always sucks to just get missed but any snow is better than nothing Not all Western Metro. I’m in Warrenton and we have maybe 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. Meanwhile just south of here in Marthasville had at least 2 inches and just east of here from Wright City to Wentzville 2-3 inches at least.

I've heard from a couple folks that there's not as much snow north of 70... but I don't get many reports from out that way. I'm pretty sure HWY 63 and I-70 should be easy going tomorrow with temps in the mid 30 with sun peeking thru

I have a 1/2" mixture of sleet/snow on back deck railing. 30* 7 miles west of de soto. I never did see big snowflakes the times I was outside.
