Sun is out in St. Peters. Looks great shining in through the windows. But reflecting off the snow I almost need to wear my sunglasses in the house.

Looks like an inch in Waterloo. Not bad. That brings me up to a foot for the season. If it weren't for the 9-10" snow in December this winter would be a D- but overall in my location I'm giving it a B-.

Still snowing lightly, but brightening up by the minute. Got another .25” from this morning’s measurement, now at 1.5”.

That was very informative. I learned a lot from that video. Great video to learn more about hodographs Indeed. Did you notice that 2018-12-01 (at 21:00 in video) was an example? If you'll remember those tornadoes were highly visible that day.

Ya when he mentioned that date I went “hey we chased that outbreak!”. You could see those tornadoes from several miles away easily

it's been weird. it seems like everyone is stuffy/dealing with allergy symptoms yet we haven't really bloomed here yet... I'm wondering if this is from this latest storm pulling up particulates from the gulf coast where they're fully bloomed in many places.

Ch 4 had tree pollen as moderate the other day, which I found odd.

I doubt we will see anything quite this dramatic today.... This might be one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen! This is a snow squall from yesterday near Aspen, Colorado. Breathtaking!

Snow showers today were kinda meh. Was hoping for some good squalls. Never materialized unfortunately. Pretty sure dry air undercut the showers and weakened them...base radar showed a slight donuthole much of the day.

Looks like another potential borderline mess setup is possible next week. Joy I was noticing that...EURO looked like it wants to hold some energy back and eject it out along the boundary...but it looks like it's going to get sheared in the messy, fast flow.
