NWS starting to shave the watch from the west. Still not seeing any development. Yeah, it's starting to look like we might not see anything...this really did not go as advertised. Hi Res NAM did a good job picking up on this being a lesser event. HRRR and RAP were way to aggressive as usual

Crazy to think about it, but I wonder how many lives were saved in Arkansas because of people staying home? Also, Arkansas State is closed for spring break.

Clouds are starting to get some vertical growth to them here...might still be able to fire off something up this way at least. I can't believe how much of a struggle it has been to get storms going around here today though...usually these dryline setups are prolific.

Again the question is how much worse would this have been had all those stores been open and filled with Saturday shoppers.

Holy hell...it ripped that thing to shreds! The structural damage I've seen doesn't seem to suggest a violent tornado...but definitely a strong one.

Storms are starting to build down the dryline...will be interesting to see how far S they develop. Right now they seem a bit shy of MO, lol.

TV station KAIT is reporting 6 injuries in Jonesboro. Curfew began at 7 PM That's a minor miracle if it's accurate...I'd say isolation measures probably saved lives for sure.

latest SPC takes the metro out of the thunderstorm risk. Looks like at least for most of us it's done. Quite frankly I was quite disappointed in this system I thought we'd at least get some decent storms, but unless you were north of I-70 or south it was kinda of a bust.

I would say this I am glad we did not get hail today. Us folks in st.charles got good hail the other night. Not a bust for the 70 corridor. But yes a sliver just south of the missouri river missed out.

The couplet on that same storm strengthened rapidly as it moved into Rockford but CC didnt seem to show debris.

Live coverage of the jonesboro storm-- @brtn was spot on. Went from a small funnel to a life-threatening tornado within 60 seconds.
