Man storms are taking their time moving in. Who knows, the sun could go down and storms dissipate before moving in. Haha

Ya, storms are just elevated a best now. They took to long to move in. Figures...

Skies are darkening here. Looks like it could start pouring at any time. But it's looked that way for a 1/2 hour so who knows.

Storms are starting to blow out with the well developed cold pool...could be some gusty winds when the outflow comes through across the northern half of the metro into IL. Looks like there's a mesolow developing out near Montgomery City that could help develop a rear inflow jet if it strengthens as well.

Had a healthy thunderstorm here for the last 45 minutes or so. Nothing close to severe but a good deal of rain and lightning.
Really nice to see and hear.

Don’t like the training going on up 44 in the Meramec valley.

Looks like I am right at 1.5" since the afternoon. Looking at radar there seems to be a more northerly push to the training line. I might get another .5" before the rain shuts down. Nice rolling thunder though.

This rain over the last 16 hours would’ve been the perfect snow storm.......slow and steady

Nice track of the upper low. If this was january, we could have seen 20 plus inches in columbia and kirksville, with the rain/snow line right at warren/st chas county line and all rain in the metro. 😂😂😂😂

Just not that much rain at my house compared to the rest of you. At the moment we stand at .29" since midnight and .51: snce last night. I'm ok with this since we got over an inch earlier in the week. WEAX, what have you got?

Way more than that here. No thunder storms but steady moderate rain a good chunk of the night and morning.

beautiful day today
yard is getting soggy again, and with more rain next wee, gonna get swampy probably.
Hotel is opening back up Monday, so back to work I go after a 3 week hiatus. Probably be exceedingly boring there for a while I would guess.
