Getting some VERY distant thunder. Still it looks like the heaviest of the storm is going to go by to the west of me. May get some rain but that's it..at least for now.

I would like some rain so I don’t have to water. If the radar holds, I’ll have to water

Northern and southern outflows coming together soon. Looks like it still has some time. 2 southern outflows have came together over monroe county, marching north. Should go over STL in an hour where it will meet the outflow off of the st. charles starm.

Northern and southern outflows coming together soon. I’ll be surprised if we don’t see storms pop when all these outflows collide

Wind from the north just started to pick up here. Distant good rumbles of thunder every so often coming from my southwest.

Is any of this going to push east of the river? Or will they continue SW?

Is any of this going to push east of the river? Or will they continue SW? Looks like things will continue to propagate SW Saint Louis bypass is a go as stated as one of the possibilities and it looks like it came to fruition. Better chances next. Unless something else gets going along or east of the river it should be quiet for areas along and east of the Mississippi River tonight.

Nothing on radar near eureka, like closest thing is west of Sullivan but certainly just heard close thunder and was a bright flash of lightning...confusing

Models have not done well with this and likely won’t over the next couple days’ chances either from the looks of things. The back building that Brtn mentioned earlier today is indeed happening, it all just set up to our west. Hrrr thinks the Nebraska cluster will survive until mid-MO tomorrow morning so we will see. Pretty typical pattern for this time of year and usually everyone gets in on a good storm or two when all is said and done.
