18z NAM and hi res NAM look pretty dang good with the snow shield pivoting and almost coming to a halt over the area late tonight. HRRR and RAP also back up this idea.

Currently looking at Goes-East WV 'lower' WV loop. I see a wave in central S. Dakota diving south. I can not locate the other wave that is supposed to phase with this. Or is it not in the picture yet? Can anyone post a pic with areas highlighted please. The original piece of upper level energy that was wound up when it came ashore has been pretty well squashed/sheared by the digging wave out of Saskatchewan. That is quickly becoming the primary shortwave/upper low.

NAM at 18z shows I flip from rain between midnight and 3am sometime. I have 'used up' .25" of qpf by this time. Looks like another .36" qpf falls by 9am as all snow. Looks to be snowing pretty good on the 6am sounding, but the 9am sounding says "Best Guess" freezing rain/drizzle.

As long as after the system has moved through it doesn't earn the name of Saskatchewan 'Dripper"

I was at 48⁰ but now I've lost 5 degrees in the last 45 minutes. Was beginning to wonder.

Kidding. There are something like 20-25 different member models, plus the mean, on the SREF Plume charts.

Doesn't sound like any real changes to amounts/headlines.
6"+ in NE MO and W Central IL with 3-5" elsewhere

I just thought I’d take a gander at the radar through my app, and I see everything that is going on. Needless to say, I’m pretty sure models don’t have a handle on anything except formulas and algorithms.

Not sure if this will open up in OKC city like mine does and I have to click on STL on the map.

I am down to 45* 7 miles west of De Soto. The disco sounds pretty good for most of us along the Mississippi River.

We have arrived in Cincy. Drove through a defined boundary just east of STL where temp dropped into low 30s this AM and fog was THICK.
Seems not much has changed... and no reason to change 2-4. Steady as she goes!
