This snow is much drier and more powdery than yesterday's wet concrete snow haha!

Light snow falling and 30* 7 miles west of De Soto. Looks like I might get in on that darker returns heading south southeast.

Some 30dbz showing up in the band rolling through the metro
Could be spots of moderate-heavy snow with that

Radar is seven minutes behind real time so that green blob should be over any second.

It looks like a lot of the roads are partially snow covered on the MODOT cams throughout St. Louis , definitely watch out for slick spots . Just enough snow to melt and refreeze on the pavement.

Radar just updated and green band is over me, 7 miles west of De Soto. Dime sized flakes, driveway getting covered again.

Got a decent quick dusting last night, but the air must be pretty dry. Most of it was lost to sublimation though. None of it remains this morning.

Gonna be a quiet week of weather unless the Wednesday storm throws a bone. Highly unlikely that comes far enough north for the area...it's getting squashed by the N stream. Cold is the big story later this week for sure. Outlying areas may get close to zero. We'll probably need to keep an eye on clipper potential and that cut-off energy ejecting out of the SW towards next week.

Looks like our annual Groundhog Day storm is the next “big” thing showing up storm wise outside of some clippers. I can probably speak for most, but I really don’t like literally “inching” my way to seasonal average snowfall.

12z models are throwing a bone to the southerners with the potential for a couple inches Wed. night. That would be a nice surprise.
