Very wet, sloppy flakes mixing in Arnold Literally just checked, singin in the rain by the police station. I'm at 570 feet at my house
I don't know, but a 100 feet elevation difference might literally make a difference lol

We are all snow here now and roof tops, ground and roads turning white. Nice moderate snow falling. Any thunder or reports yet with heavier bands in southern Missouri ? I know some had mentioned the possibility. Just didn’t know the time of those soundings or if that was going to be possible, or was occurring anywhere in MIssouri ?

Just started showers here about half hour ago. Was looking at NWS point forecast, and they have really reduced snow from 3-6 down to 1-3. Guess it is a bust up here?

I just had to walk out and brush off the internet dish. I was pretty well snow covered by the time I got back to the house, the dish was covered too. Back online. Still 33* and moderate snow 7 miles west of De Soto.

In the disco it said something about 1/2-1" lowering. That looks like a lot more than that.

Very wet, sloppy flakes mixing in Arnold Literally just checked, singin in the rain by the police station. Mixing in here too. Pretty sure 920 is near me. I’m off Telegraph at top of the hill. ETA: I’m at 570’ elevation.

Has Arnold changed over yet? Not fully. I would best describe it as a slushy rain

Never under estimate the power of the WAM.
Didn't think I'd have to say that with this storm...
Also I really thought dry air would be an issue. What was I thinking. Where my t-shirt. I have to go put it on. 🤣

I don't know if it's the 'blocky' radar from wunderground but the circulation seems to be elongating to the NE. Center of low was around Little Rock but the NE part of the precip shield seems to be outrunning the center. Could be the dry slot advancing maybe.
