I trended on fox2’s radar but was hoping to see the higher resolution and debris. Sadly it sounds like multiple fatalities out of that. Pretty much the perfect storm, so to speak - trailer, middle of the night.

That storm this morning was a windy one in Fredericktown. Took some good chunks off the neighbors roof, blew some lights down on courtsquare and took down a sign at the hospital.

Here is a GRAnalyst screen shot for the Marble Hill storm with a peak velocity couplet (adjacent bin deltaV 134kts and Vrot 78kts) and max TDS height (~12000ft). Radar data at least would imply a significant tornado.

Community social media forums are reporting death toll in that Bollinger County storm to be 5.
A storm like that striking in the middle of the night, in an area where people are sleeping in rural and lower income housing (ie trailers, mobile homes, flats, pole barns, etc where there is little zoning and building regulation) is never good.
It hasnt been that long since marble hill had a deadly tornado and i believe that one happened at night as well. I think that area is a pretty high frequency area for tornadoes as well.
This may be a case where the EF rating may end up lower than one would expect because of the buildings.

That storm this morning was a windy one in Fredericktown. Took some good chunks off the neighbors roof, blew some lights down on courtsquare and took down a sign at the hospital. We were coming back from Lambert about midnight last night; it was 78 degrees and blowing the car all over the place. I stayed up watching the weather till about 3; just missed catching the GlenAllen tornado. Hearing from our guys on the ground down there that it's even worse than the pictures are showing.

Conditions at the time in Bollinger CO were about 1500 j/kg MLCAPE and almost 350 1km SRH with an effective STP of around 3 to 4.

Radar data at least would imply a strong tornado. Pictures would suggest strong EF2 and the velocities would too at least...but the scan is probably 3-4kft at that distance if I had to guess?
