That’s as a wild 45 minutes out here in eureka. No power no estimate on restoration. Good thing I got the new truck with a generator. Didn’t want more hail but get to use the new toy at least and test it out

Looking at radar why did cardinals game get postponed until tomorrow. Would think tommow double hitter with anticipated rain would be a problem.

Dang, downtown has been the bullseye when we’ve had storms lately. Send that to the farm fields instead of pavement please!

For a change it looks like the storms are intensifying once they get east of the Missouri River oand I-270. The Arch effect in reverse.

Stood outside on the west-facing front porch and watched the lightning. Some awesome crawlers, Cloud to ground, and all of it a pink color.

How hard did Marissa get hit if it did? Not bad here. Lost a couple pieces of ridge cap, but those fly off in a stiff breeze.
Hate to see those pics from St. Libory. Just talked to a buddy on the FD. Power poles down all over town, mature oak trees snapped like twigs, barns flattened. It's a mess. Hoping any overnight rain stays well north of them so they can get a handle on things in the morning.

Sorry to hear this. It was a pretty violent storm when it went through High Ridge a little after 6. Lots of tree damage and Hillsboro Valley Park is still closed between Dillon and Williams Creek Road. I had to pull under the awning of the Phillips 66 at Antire Road and High Ridge Blvd. There wasn't a lot of hail, but what there was was big.

Here’s a sad reality down here. A few buddies who cut a large amount of hay in our county, all agreed they got about half to a third of the bales they normally would get during the first cut. And a second cut is not looking likely. We will feel this drought for awhile.

After seeing the damage I am beyond thankful it missed us Glad no one in your family was hurt, I also don't see any reports of injuries just looking at news topics online though it was hard to miss Fox's big red banner about U-Verse. My wife and I are also beyond thankful we did not see any damage. The rain overnight missed us by a few miles according to radar estimates. Hoping for rain and no severe weather today.
