Paducah NWS barely has time to catch their breath and here comes another system. The tornado risk has increased immensely, for the southern part of the state. As much as I like to complain about Paducah being late to the party in the winter, their severe coverage may be some of the best in the country.

rain will be heaviest north and south, kind of a split here..radar is showing it. We'll get some rain, not sure about a soaker. I have .04 so far, been raining for 90 minutes at least

Saw a wooly worm the other day. Cut it open, but I didn't see any kitchen utensils. I guess that means winter is canceled again.

We move our daughter back to MSU Sunday, and we have family in W TN. I'm all about fish hurricanes. Those are fun to watch. |

As it stands now, this early in the game, i have very low expectations for this winter. It does appear that the earths axis will tilt away from the sun, again this upcoming winter, so its almost certain that this winter will be the coldest season of the year. One other note, i plan to once again have 0 pumpkin spice products this fall. I like my folgers coffee...black.

What a disappointment...90% POPs for heavy rain turned into a 100% chance of sprinkles. This is the most annoying weather pattern I've ever seen.

1/3 of an inch in south st.peters that little stationary shower got the streets flowing in st.peters. its coming doing at a good clip at the moment here

It appears the entire area is now in a Slight Risk in the latest D2 update from the SPC. What changed from this morning's update, which barely had the Marginal in the far northern sections of the LSX area?
