My sister just said what rymes with hive said a tornado was directly over De Soto??? And why is it taking so long for the NWS to get the graphics of a Tornado Warning on their page?? My sister texted me 4 minutes ago and it was just posted to NWS site. Why such a long lag?

Almost seems like the cell that formed behind the lead one down in Monroe County IL threw both of them into chaos. Rotation looks to be weakening on both of them...as long as it's not just a pulse.

Does the stuff down by Springfield make it here? Some maybe. But severe threat looks to shift south of STL. Alot of rain cooled air over most of STL.

That’s a mean bow echo headed for the southern half of the area
Part of it is warned for 80 mph wind

That storm in Montgomery Co has a hook on its southwestern flank. Not seeing rotation yet.

Ya now I'm wondering if storms will continue over the STL area. Seems like the earlier storms maybe not have any effect on this batch moving in from Central Missouri

There was always an initial mode of discreet cells, with a line forming as the front passes later.

Have no idea if we have damage or not.

When that storm that came through here in western Macoupin I was watching the Davis and it hit 48 mph then instantly went to zero. Just went to the barn to see what happened, the cups on the anemometer had blown off! Found them in the pasture, stuck it back on and it's working again! Would like to know what that gust speed was when it came off.

Had a couple pieces in my yard that were tea cup size today.
What a wild day.
I would say the slight risk could of easily been enhanced in the metro
