Ok...see my pretty kitty in my profile photo? Well, he is past due for a neuter job. Only thing is, i can't spend much money on it. Suggestions of where there are cheap clinics that will do it real cheap but not kill my cat?
We have actually done male cats at home before without problem but I have asked husband twice and am tired of waiting for him to take a notion. So far the cheapest price I have gotten for a male is $60. Too high. I don't need a vet to up sell me on other stuff either. I take care of animal needs with herbal meds.

At one time we were going to get our black lab fixed, IDK if it was through the state of IL or our county, but they sent us a certificate for a reduced amount to get your animal fixed. It was really cheap, like 20-30 bucks (We decided not to get her fixed because we want to breed her with another pure breed). If I can remember tonight, I will ask the wife who it was through. You can use it at any qualified vet.

In Missouri, the county humane societies sell vouchers for low-cost neuters, which can be used at certain vet clinics. I would start with your county's humane society for information. There is also a program called Opspot (opspot.org) which has $10 spay/neuter dates at certain clinics. Spaces are very limited, so you may not be able to get your pet in right away, you would have to check their website for a clinic that is closer to you, to get more information. Some programs will require that the pet is up to date on certain vaccinations prior to surgery.
