With Thanksgiving week coming up I thought I would check and see what the Networks were showing. I remember as a kid there were a lot of holiday specials and movies on the networks. I checked for This Thanksgiving Not so much. With the Networks almost Except for the parades on 2 channels not much els. Has anyone els kind of noticed the decline if there is one in holiday theme programming on the networks?

Political correctness and greed has ruined what Christmas and the holiday season is all about so far as I can tell. I don't turn on the TV very often from between Halloween and New Years. The commercials make me want to gag. I always enjoy 24hrs of "A Christmas Carol" on TBS though, that movie is just a classic and a gem. |

I can't stand commercials in general. I actually watch very little TV any more in large part because of that. We have built up a pretty large collection of Christmas movies/specials on DVD.
