Christmas was over after watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carry). That was the last of the Christmas movies I had to watch. Now a brief few days before Amateur Night, then the Winter Blues set in. So I hope that after Jan 1st, we get some interesting weather till spring.

After I watch George C. Scott in A Christmas Carol late on Christmas night. Lights & greenery remain up until New Year's Day, but anything relating to Santa is put away. And no more movies related to Christmas.

Usually the weekend after Christmas. Then it's all New Years stuff. But lights stay up until after New Years. Usually the weekend after at least. :-)

Ya know it would still "feel" like Christmas if we had some freaking snow.

My wife likes to take everything down immediately after Christmas Day. I like to to leave everything up until Jan 6th (the end of the 12 days of Christmas and the Epiphany). Things usually come down for us around New Year's day. Bear in mind that we usually start putting things up, listening to music, etc. a week after Halloween.

We celebrate Christmas until Epiphany on January 6th....the decorations don't come down until after that.
