We were never under level 3 here. Just 2. And that is not hype. That's a forecast by the spc. Hype is when it's all over the place being talked about by everyone. IMO We were under level 3 at the end of last week into the weekend, but they backed off it. And there was hyped based on that forecast.

Hype be who? Reed the ever overblown Timmer? I didn't see too much hype really. You didn't see we were under a level 2 threat? Originally a level 3?

Enough to wet the pavement a couple of times with the wind drying them off quickly in between. All of the hype about today was a letdown.
Disappointing.

Tuesday has my attention. Still plenty of questions, but it has that severe weather look to it. Just saw the SPC maps for Tuesday. Definitely some scary potential there.

The Davis on the roof in North St. Pete reported .45" from last night/early morning. Bummer. Not even half an inch.

I just finished my lunch. Feet up in my La-Z-Boy, watching Emergency. House is open. Got your Ringer’s Lactate ready? D5W... KMG 365

Advantage of living where “no one lives”. Took a side by side ride and saw 3 other vehicles 😬. Currently sitting in my living room. Bread in the oven. Did some dishes. Took a shower. I just finished my lunch. Feet up in my La-Z-Boy, watching Emergency. House is open.

Chris Higgins is sitting in traffic heading south. 55 is a mess headed south right now. Looks like one of those hurricane evacuation photos. I’ll be joining that mess soon. Good luck!

1 day out and models are still all over the place. Just gotta go with your spot and hope for the best. Just like the models do for snowstorm. At least they're consistent with their inconsistency.

It appears this time the Arch effect is working in our favor. There was another map I saw from the NWS that showed an even smaller hole that this right over the mid-Mississippi River valley.

My wife was in central Texas two weeks ago. One town there is expecting 60,000 visitors for the eclipse. They are warning residents to stock up on groceries and other necessities. Anywy, she picked up one of the shirts they were selling.

I think the front is coming through. Things had been calm. Suddenly I got a 40-50 mph wind gust. Now the wind has settled down to a 10-20 mph speed.
