I apologize, I am not saying the southern folks aren't under the gun, I'm just saying for the immediate st.louis and st.charles county metro, which is a high population center that might be spared which is a good thing. Im being optimistic. If you live along and south of highway 50 though watch out

That's a great thing for the metro, maybe just some light sprinkles I hope. We do not need anymore rain

It's getting cloudy quick. I have a optimistic feel we will be ok in the metro. But still do not want to let your gaurd down.

Looks like the southeast turn is happening near the lake

I hope this thing misses the Metro to the south.
I think Rolla to Carbondale will be the bullseye. As Chris said the air is dry in the metro and the hrrr has it diving south of us.
Also spc trimmed the enhanced south a bit

I am hoping we have more storms tomorrow in the morning to keept things stable and the threat stays away from the metro to the south.
I'm hoping today's storms push tomorrow's threat south by not allowing the warm front to lift as quickly and we are on the cool side.
That's what I hope

It was way more than a weak t storm on the south side near harvester, also torrential Rains and shifting winds. We were in the basement about 430 with high winds and torrential rains. Over an inch of new rainfall. All though we were closer to where the rotation showed up on radar from weldon spring to Harvester.

appears Slight risk has moved into the western metro now as well. While not a major threat in the metro, tomorrow morning could be a little nasty as well in our area.

1.12 in south st.peters last night.
Great soaking.
Next week I am very concerned looks like a multi day severe threat possible, and this time over our region Tuesday.
Tomorrow storms could get a little Spicy as well when the front comes through.
Lots to monitor and more rains on the way. Just saw lambert is now running 2 inch surplus for the year, which is nice compared to the drought last year.

Spc backed off significantly on severe weather for today which makes sense in our area. Looks like it will be more of a soaking rain then storms for our area.
Which is good we don't need severe weather.
Im more interested in Thursday for our area.

In my opinion dave Murray is not the most concerned and seems fairly tame that is all, as that is who is talking on 98.7.
I don't want anyone hurt or injured, I just don't feel like he is pushing it that hard

Dave Murray just said on the radio the dry air kept things in check basically the immediate metro on the west side of the Mississippi, and the Illinois side is the big threat

Meaning it did not come together in time for the north half of the metro
