Verbatim, looks like the ggem has a squall line with temps in the mid 60s by day 8/9. Looks like we have a lot to sort out over the next week I know extreme cold is usually followed by extreme warmth, but that’s probably a stretch.

Here are my top 5 things I miss about the good ole days when there was..... The Friv-O-Meter Watching for weather models to go KABOOM status. Posting snow fall total maps under 5 days. Chris’s snowfall map drawing closely resembling the male anatomy. The complaining that Chicago and the North East get all the snow. I about spit my drink all over my desk when I read #4. Those maps were nuts! (insert giggles here)

Jumped to 35° and it sounds like it’s raining moderately in the woods. Was walking in the woods for a peaceful stress reliever but didn’t bring an umbrella 😊 Therefore your stress level went up? 😜

Heaviest snow I can remember as an adult was March 2008. 5 inches in 90 minutes and 11.5 for the event. I remember that storm! I was principal at a school in Warrenton at the time. I was the only school in Warren County that didn’t call off that morning based on the forecast. The snow line made it as far as Foristell but no further. The same parents that were cursing me at morning drop off got nothing but smiles and waves from me to the end of the day.

So glad we can actually have soccer weather during the high school soccer season this year. I think it was last year we actually had to have the boys take water breaks midway through each half because if the heat.

Everything to my North this morning, most likely all staying south this evening lol. I wouldn’t be so sure. Radar is starting to light up over Franklin County. It’s getting dark just a shade north of WashMO.

Had enough to dampen things slightly. Amazing because it was making a beeline right towards me. Then played dodge 'em. Thundered a lot though and cooled off. We had a lot of rain in Washington. My son is the Friday paperboy at the Missourian and when I picked him up at 5, I could barely see and the gutters on the side of the roads were full. Amazing what a difference a few miles makes.

Haven’t been there yet. I’ll check it out. They have local honey and stuff too. Located across from Purschke's tire We’ve been placing orders at least once a week. They have their price list on their Facebook page.

With the low below 20 tonight, is there a concert with all of this rain flash freezing? Obviously they can’t pretreat to prevent it. The combination that is concerning is... 1) Sharply falling temperatures 2) Light snow and flurries falling into small/shallow puddles and standing water 3) Gusty winds The rapid drop comes late tonight...setting us up for a perfect storm of icy roads going into the morning rush. That’s what I thought. Thanks! Could be a tough decision for administrators tomorrow.
