The predicted sim radars are quite far off from what has actually developed and where. I think we all have a shot at some decent rain tonight. Completely agree...the axis of deep convection seems to be setting up substantially further NW than some models showed...probably at least to some extent because of the slowing of the storms movement. Longer it takes things to get here the higher the dew point will be

Guyfromhecker, are you driving out there in Colorado? I70 by Limon is a mess! No, Limon is getting winds gusting into the sixties already with potential to have winds as high as 70 miles an hour.

Just mowed the lawn. Brand new 56v, 7.5ah, E-Go 21", self propelled. AMAZING! Got through on one charge with 25% left. Battery quick charges in about 45 minutes. Tipped it up on end when I was done and spayed the underside clean. Try that with a gas mower. 5 year warranty on this thing. Bye bye gas mowers. You'll be living on another planet before you know it. Thanks, Elon Musk. He's pushing it. We need pushers. I set my mower to mulch. This did the job as well as my gas mowers did. Torque is no issue. I have read in reviews that the mower does not bog in deep/thick stuff. Just pulls more off the battery to keep rpms up. The speed control on the propel is a lever. All wheels adjust with one knob. This thing is a dream.

That was the coldest cardinal game I’ve been to. And it was during the middle of the day with full sunshine in April. We had tickets in the upper deck behind home plate but being in the shade with the wind was miserable. Had to eventually move down to the bleachers in the sun. We started in the bleachers. First inning we moved to a suite behind the plate. Nice to have good friends

The WPC has taken an organized low out of the equation and now has the tiniest little spot in Northern Arkansas as the only place with a slight chance of 4 in of snow. Radar trends are lousy also. I believe it is time to stick a fork in this one.

The dry air is going to affect the stuff on the northern side. I wonder how much. This may put a test to the dry round wet ground Theory. The ground should enhance rather than impede in this situation. I would imagine either way it only affects by a few hundreds but when you're not getting much....

I thought the initial surface low track on the WPC yesterday and thought man that's pretty far south for what they were expecting. I looked at it today when I got up and thought man that's really not impressive. You just got to wonder why we're getting our hopes up for Sunday

Folks, we saw hints of this for days. The way it kind of waned as a came into our area was evident before. I'm just shocked that everybody is so shocked about that. Up until the last 24 hours it was almost always showing the hint of a gap in this area for the last 3 days or so.

I get a kick out of everybody is saying this is a big model whatever. A rain event this light and it made a shift like that everybody would be saying, oh well. It happens. Lord knows, if it flipped for one run it can flip back again.

Let's try this again... Cardinals are a fun team with dominant starting pitching, a potent offense, and a deep bullpen. If it ends poorly this time I will change my user name. They are fun to watch so far. So much more energy with these guys. Lots of pop in that lineup. Matheny needs to let Maddox manage the pen and staff because, well he stuggles with that and I'm being nice. Your being very nice. You almost wonder if he knows what matchup means.

Hopefully I get out of Dodge before they get here. I'm currently in Carmi and you can feel the humidity. I still have to go to Evansville and then head back. My guess is with the way things are going my best bet of hitting something severe will be along I-64 as I approach Mount Vernon later this afternoon

Showers seem to be intensifying over here. ain't going to take much to get a hailer. that cell just north of Nashville looks like a candidate shortly. Looks like some stuff starting develop along I-44.
