Tent camping Saturday evening in Steelville MO. Will have four kids age 5 and under. Hopefully we will be far enough south to avoid the big stuff.

New Tornado warning in Montgomery and Warren county MO. Can anyone grab a snap of where the rotation is in this storm?

Does that storm approaching southern Warren county have at least broad rotation? Seems likes it’s had a little hook on the SW flank for a while.

So how does this look to play out to the W and NW of St Louis? It appears Warren and Lincoln counties are on the edge of the enhanced risk and our highest threat is hail and wind according to SPC. Starting as supercells and then forming multi-cell lines and moving east later?

Sirens just went off in Warren county. Confused at first but the Montgomery county warning finally showed up.

Not much change on the latest SPC update except shaving the chances for far North MO.

Latest SPC update is focusing the main threat of tornadoes over the eastern ozarks, hail over the eastern ozarks up to STL while the wind threat extends up to the Eastern MO/Iowa line.

Lots of clouds and some light showers over the Ozarks, so it's gonna be tough. There is somewhat of a clearing in the SW corner of MO, though I'm not sure that ever makes it here and if it does, it may not have enough time to destabilize us. Clouds have a thinner look over central and SW MO so maybe they will burn off. Most of the time we know we can bet on destabilization not to occur for this area but it this system dynamic enough to over come it? SW MO and W Arkansas don't seem to have that shower activity building as the eastern Ozarks and North MO do.
