I've been thinking 100 + was a possibility this weekend for a couple days. It'll be hot. Just in time to spend most of the weekend outside. Can and likely will move Sunday's indoors, but not so much for Saturday.

Warmer Weather Is Actually A Good Thing For Produce Sales Both My Stores Are Moving Product Faster Than Ever And Not Just Me, My Family Has Fruit Stands From Perryville, To Desoto Up To New Town (St. Charles) And We Have All Noticed An Increase In Sales It Was Much Needed As March/April Had More Cold Wet Days Than Warm Sunny Ones...
Most Farmers Irrigate Although Ground Water Is Still Crucial We Do Want Some Rain!
and 100*+ Sucks Regardless

side note I just seen hurricane Bud might want to send moisture to the desert SW maybe us after??? It looks like Bud's energy and upper level moisture will swing around the top of the ridge over the midwest and wind up in New England according to the GFS. This Bud is not for you.

Our hope lies still with tropical moisture interacting with a frontal boundary Monday and beyond. Models are still holding onto that which is good. That would be a nice relief of what we are about to suffer through this weekend.

Anyone else seeing a large number of moths in the evening? Our backyard has a lot of them. We need more bats!

Fox 2 news reports that a woman got her head stuck in a tailpipe. This happened in MN. CBTL must be proud.

HRRR has some scattered storms around this afternoon but no mention of the slightest chance by NWS. Maybe we will get a couple surprise showers around.

It looks like it wants to trigger them from a boundary kicked off by the storm complex up north. We'll see.

Was about to ask if those storms in Iowa have the remotest chance of dropping this far south.

The IA storms have certainly started to make a due south shift, however it would appear they will begin to die out.

I'd say that complex has a decent chance of holding together and sagging S/SE down the river valley.

Seems they could impact the area after all. Is there anything that would make them collapse?

Seems they could impact the area after all. Is there anything that would make them collapse? Lack of shear or any real forcing, but there is some very unstable air pushing in from the SW (upwards of 5000J of SBCAPE) that should sustain even an outflow dominant system
